As Project Architect for the Fayetteville Denny’s Restaurant, our office coordinated the design development, construction documents and observation for the prototypical restaurant space. The +/- 5,000 SF restaurant is a wood frame structure with a metal mansard parapet and a flat roof for hidden placement of rooftop HVAC units. The site of the restaurant offers great access and visibility. However, extensive soil stabilization and drainage improvement resulted in a dramatic impact on the project cost. Approximately one year ago our office completed a second Denny’s Restaurant.  This one was an in-fill project in a Springdale hotel.
