Indoor Riding Arena & Barn
Located in the rolling hills outside of Fayetteville, Arkansas, the privately owned equestrian center is a 32,000 sf complex that includes a 170’ x 100’ indoor riding arena, stables, and living space. Its form embodies the timelessness of the indigenous barn typology seen throughout the Ozarks. To accommodate show quality quarter horses, this facility incorporates a state of the art ventilation systems and bountiful natural light combined with stone masonry, heavy timber construction and oak paneling. The indoor arena facility includes 7 stalls, grooming areas, wash bays, office, kitchen, and dining room with a screened-in porch for family events. The accompanying stables are an addition to an existing barn that connect to the Indoor Arena with a covered walkway and drive thru. The stable’s heavy timber structure contains 21 stalls, laundry, tack rooms and a 760 sf loft living space for the trainer’s assistant. Located adjacent to both facilities is a heavy timber covered bridge that accents the equine center.
